Taking our courses is your chance to begin a journey that explores beyond the surface of diving. Each course will provide you with the proper knowledge and skills to truly consider yourself an experienced diver. Our goal is to prepare you for the adventure that lies ahead, as well as make sure you have a good time doing it!
Open Water Diver Course
Your Journey Underwater Starts Here
Becoming an SSI Open Water Diver is the best way to start your scuba adventure due to worldwide recognition! With personalized training and taking enough time, we make sure you are truly comfortable under water with the skills and equipment you will use. In general, an Open Water Diver course consists of 3 parts: Academics, Pool Training and Open Water Sessions.
Try Scuba Diving

Advanced Adventurer Course
SSI’s Advanced Adventurer program was created so that you can try out a variety of specialties before you commit to completing a full program. It is a great way to experience what advanced training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures.
Open Water Diver Course
This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experienced to become truly comfortable underwater.
Enriched Air Nitrox Course
No longer will you have to decide between safety or longer dive times. Nitrox is your passport to a whole new realm of diving! Enrolling in SSI's most popular specialty program will teach you everything you need to know about Enriched Air Nitrox. This program is also a prerequisite for getting involved in Technical Diving.
Rescue Diver Course
Be prepared for those unexpected emergencies. The Diver Stress & Rescue program will equip you with the knowledge and skills to adequately handle situations should they occur. You will learn how to avoid, recognize, and solve problems above and underwater.
React Right Course
React Right is SSI's emergency training program that deals with out of water emergencies. Designed not only for divers but non-divers as well, this course will train first aid providers to control during an emergency situation until medical professionals arrive on scene.
Night and Limited Visibility Course
“Night diving is exciting, thrilling and fascinating. It is hard to imagine what the experience is like before actually doing it.”
The underwater world at night is a new, mysterious world and gives anyone who enters it a new perspective.
Divemaster Course
Develop both the leadership and diving skills coupled with strong theoretical background to launch your professional dive career as a Divemaster by completing the Dive Guide course and Science of Diving speciality!
Divemasters can assist SSI Instructors with pool/confined water and open water training under their direct supervision and guide divers all over the world.
Open Water Instructor Course
Following the Dive Control Specialist certification, you can enroll in the Instructor Training Course. Upon passing the Instructor Evaluation, you will be a certified Open Water Instructor. You are then able to teach and issue certifications for Open Water Diver, Advanced Adventurer and other programs.
Divemaster Instructor Course
An important step in the continuation of your Dive Professional career is moving on from an Advanced Open Water Instructor to becoming a Divemaster Instructor.
As a Divemaster Instructor, you are qualified to issue Science of Diving, Dive Guide and Divemaster certifications.
Instructor Trainer Course
Undergo the Instructor Trainer Seminar and empower yourself with the ability to teach and issue certifications for Instructor Training Courses, Specialty Instructor and Dive Control Specialist Instructor Seminars, and Instructor Crossover programs once you have successfully passed the seminar.
